Short summary
This study develops the Accumulated-Event Risk Indicator to identify where major disaster events accumulated during 2013–2023 under country-level risk conditions. It identifies 14 principal hotspots, concentrated mainly in South and Southeast Asia and along the Himalayan belt. The study also presents the 3H Dataset, providing standardized high-resolution remote-sensing imagery for finer-scale disaster research.
