Short summary
Campi Flegrei volcano is receiving attention due to its intense activity and the potential consequences on local communities. One of the least considered hazards is the generation of landslide tsunamis. These are investigated here through numerical simulations, assessing their impact on the coasts of the basin. Although more massive, underwater scenarios are found not to pose significant threats, unlike subaerial collapses, which can induce substantial waves, especially in the near field.
