The DETECT experiment provides a novel dataset to showcase how dense seismic sensor networks can improve monitoring of complex fault systems. This survey aims to collect seismic waveforms near seismic sources to better image faults, understand their behavior between earthquakes, and track changes that may anticipate a larger event. The data collected during the survey offer potential for advancing methodologies in earthquake identification and source characterization.

This study explores self-supervised learning for volcano-seismic data, where manual labeling is costly and requires expertise. We test several methods on datasets from Llaima, Colima, and Etna to see whether meaningful signal patterns can be learned without labels. Results show that these approaches, especially TS-TCC, can reveal relevant structures and reduce the need for annotated data, supporting more efficient volcanic signal analysis.

This work describes a dataset of 5 years of earthquakes with magnitude range of 2.0–5.5 from January 2019 along the East Anatolian Fault, Türkiye. All events were located using the non-linear location algorithm, providing reliable horizontal locations and depths. The distributed product includes Fourier amplitude spectra, peak ground acceleration and peak ground velocity; we strongly believe that the creation of high-quality open-source datasets is crucial for any seismological investigation.

A regionally consistent probabilistic risk assessment for multiple hazards and assets was developed under the Strengthening Financial Resilience and Accelerating Risk Reduction in Central Asia (SFRARR) programme, supported by the European Union, the World Bank, and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery. This paper outlines the preparation of the source model and presents key results of the probabilistic earthquake hazard analysis for the Central Asian countries.

The Earthquake Risk Model of Switzerland (ERM-CH23), released in early 2023, is the culmination of a multidisciplinary effort aiming to achieve, for the first time, a comprehensive assessment of the potential consequences of earthquakes on the Swiss building stock and population. ERM-CH23 provides risk estimates for various impact metrics, ranging from economic loss as a result of damage to buildings and their contents to human losses, such as deaths, injuries, and displaced population.

As part of the Strengthening Financial Resilience and Accelerating Risk Reduction in Central Asia (SFRARR) programme, funded by the European Union in collaboration with the World Bank and GFDRR, a regionally consistent probabilistic multi-hazard and multi-asset risk assessment has been developed. This paper describes the preparation of the input datasets (earthquake catalogue and active-fault database) required for the implementation of the probabilistic seismic hazard model.

In this work, we study a Mediterranean cyclone that occurred in February 2023 and its relationship with a particular seismic signal called microseism. By integrating the data recorded by seismic stations, satellites, HF radar and wavemeter buoy we are able to obtain information about this event. We show how an innovative monitoring system of the Mediterranean cyclones can be designed by integrating microseism information with other techniques routinely used to study meteorological phenomena.

Short summary
This work presents a multiparametric analysis of hydrological, meteorological, and seismic data to characterize a major flood event in the Tagliamento River (Italy). River-generated seismic noise, related to flow and bedload transport, is detected up to 3 km from the channel. Cross-correlation and polarization analyses of the November 2023 "Ciàran Storm" reveal a clear PSD (Power Spectral Density)–water level relationship with hysteresis.
